Get an Early Look at the Breakout Tracks at the 2026 National Disciple Making Forum!

Dear Discipleship-First Friends,

We’re excited to give you a first look at the breakout tracks featured at the 2026 National Disciple Making Forum, happening April 15-16 in Houston.

This year’s theme is Own the Mission: Becoming Disciple Makers.

Most Christians believe in the Great Commission—but belief alone hasn’t translated into movement. Fewer than 5% of churches have a reproducing disciple making culture—and even fewer believers personally see disciple making as their mission.

At this year’s Forum, we’re calling leaders, churches and everyday disciple makers to move from believing in the mission to owning the mission.

Our breakout tracks are designed to equip you with practical tools, proven strategies and boots-on-the-ground insight from leaders who are actively building disciple making cultures and multiplying disciples in their churches and communities.

You won’t just hear theory—you’ll learn from practitioners who are living out Jesus-style disciple making every day.

Whether you’re a church leader, ministry leader or everyday disciple maker who wants to know the next step, these breakout sessions will help you personally take ownership of the mission Jesus has given us.

Here’s just a snapshot of what you can expect at the 2026 Forum:

BE1MAKE1: A Church for the Campus

A Church for the Campus track (led by Anthony Rex | Be1Make1) – this track focuses on helping believers discover their calling and step confidently into the mission of Jesus. Through four sessions, participants will explore the “Path of Jesus” and how to provide people with a clear vision of what following Christ truly means. Leaders will learn the daily practices—the “skills of Jesus”—that help believers live a lifestyle of disciple making. The final sessions introduce a simple process that will help you, help others to discover their gospel identity and calling, empowering them to speak their purpose and live on mission wherever God has placed them.

BetterMan: How to Disciple Men

How to Disciple Men track (led by Dr. Chris Harper, Josiah Jones and Dylan Manley | BetterMan) Across four sessions, this track addresses one of the most urgent disciple making challenges facing the church today—reaching and discipling men. You will examine the current cultural landscape surrounding manhood and explore a biblical vision for men today. The track highlights relational disciple making approaches that move beyond programs and into life-on-life mentorship. Leaders will also learn how spiritual fathering and intergenerational discipleship play a critical role in ensuring that faith is passed on to the next generation.

Church Project: Micro Church Discipling

Micro Church Discipling track (led by Jason Shepperd | Church Project) explores a compelling return to the New Testament model of church life—a church consisting of interconnected house churches led by everyday believers. In these four sessions, you  will examine the “ecclesiological DNA” of the early church and what it means to reimagine church around distributed leadership and decentralized ministry.

RENEW.org: Theology and 7 Best Practices of a Disciple Making Church

Theology and the 7 Best Practices of a Disciple Making Church track, (led by Bobby Harrington and team | RENEW.org)  looks at the theological and strategic foundations necessary for building a true disciple making culture in your church. Through four sessions, leaders will explore why theological alignment is foundational to disciple making. The track examines why disciple making must be the core mission of the church and how that conviction must permeate every level of church life.

Relational Discipleship Network (RDN): Small Group Discipling

Small Group Discipling track (led by Jim Putman, Mark “Moose” Bright, Brandon Guindon, Bob Reed | Relational Discipleship Network) emphasizes building resilient disciples in a rapidly changing and often confusing cultural landscape. Jim, Mark, Brandon and Bob–all experienced disciple making practitioners, in their own right—will help equip you to cultivate disciples who are rooted in truth and capable of discerning cultural deception.

SmallCircle: Individual Disciple Making

Individual Disciple Making track (led by Steve McCoy | SmallCircle) centers on the transformative power of one-to-one discipleship. In this series, you will explore why God designed people for relational depth and how intentional one-to-one disciple making can become a central strategy for churches and individuals alike. Participants will learn how to cultivate a disciple making culture through intentional strategy, how to move beyond information transfer into experiential “Lightbulb Learning,” and how practical discipleship labs can accelerate spiritual growth.

e3 Partners: Disciple Making Movements

Disciple Making Movements (DMM) track (led by David Kaufmann | e3 Partners) provides a practical roadmap for churches that want to move toward gospel multiplication. In these sessions, David will walk leaders through casting a compelling vision for reaching every nation, tribe, and tongue while developing a clear biblical strategy for reaching their local communities. Participants will gain simple and reproducible tools that equip everyday believers to live on mission in their daily lives. The track concludes with practical examples and coaching resources to help churches shift from addition-based ministry to a multiplying disciple making culture.
