Who is a culturally savvy thought leader with a national and international ministry designed for Christian thought leaders?
Gabe Lyons recently founded and serves as President of THINQ Media, a media and event organization who educates and equips thought leaders to create conversations that lead to wisdom. Before THINQ, Gabe was a co-founder of Catalyst and then he created the Q Commons events (which directly impacted 10 million people).
Gabe lives here in the Nashville/Franklin area and I have seen his work up close and personally. He has written multiple books like Good Faith: Being a Christian When Society Thinks You’re Irrelevant and Extreme. He is a man that I listen to and respect.
I am pleased to announce that he will join Thom Rainer on Friday night October 27th for a Ted-style presentation. I will then host the two men for a forum conversation on what they share about intentional disciple making in our culture. Specifically, Gabe will speak to us about Intentionally Discipling Thought Leaders.
Joining Rainer will be other mainstage presenters that will include speakers who will help us with the practical aspects of intentionality in disciple making. We have already announced some of our speakers (click here for our previous announcement), let me now announce two more.
Brandon Guindon – Brandon is the Lead Pastor of Real Life Texas (in the Houston area) and author of multiple books. His most recent book is the theme book for our City Tour (see below). He spent just about two decades with Jim Putman at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho, before planting Real Life Texas in 2016, which has already planted multiple churches.
Renee Sproles -Renee is the director of cultural engagement for Renew.org Network. She is a sought-after speaker and guide to church leaders on gender issues. She is an author, speaker, podcaster and co-founder of the School of Christian Thought in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Also, remember, everyone attending the City Tour events will receive a free copy of Brandon Guindon’s book, Intentional: Living Out the Eight Principles of Disciple Making.
One last thing… We will be asking everyone who attends (or is thinking about attending) the Discipleship.org Fall 2023 City Tour events to take the personal disciple maker assessment. I will write more about that soon–but you can jump in and take the FREE disciple maker assessment now! Click here
