Intentionality is love expressed by helping another person on the disciples journey – it is helping them place their faith in Jesus and then helping them become more and more like Jesus.
Jesus’ love for his disciples was not just organic; it was also strategic. Yes, Jesus was organic. But Jesus was intentional. Disciple making is both with intentionality being primary.
We like to say that Jesus was “organically intentional.”
